Catching Up!

Wow, Am I tired?! I’m completely wiped out and am SICK of eating out! The Grand Ole Opry is the only thing keeping me going at this point!

Well, I believe the last time I blogged we were leaving D.c. Since then, I’ve been to Virginia Beach and Charlotte, NC. I’ll start with Virginia Beach!

Ughhh! It was boring! Nothing was open being that we visited out of “beach season,” and not to mention, it was about 40 degrees. But, thank the Lord for the mall though! When we got to our hotel, we were definitely impressed! It was a nice size and we had a beautiful view (our hotel sat on the beach). We settled in and Chels and I fell asleep for a bit. We woke up just in time to start getting ready for our dinner! We went to a place called Captain George’s and it was all-you-can-eat seafood. It was so great, but I don’t know if it was really worth 40 dollars! We left the next morning and I was just glad to be moving on to some place else!

We pulled into Charlotte just in time to make it on our NASCAR tour at Lowe’s Speedway. Some people chose to stay in the bus rather than taking the tour FOR ONLY FIVE DOLLARS, but, their loss, right? The tour was awesome! I got to ride around the track going only a fraction of what Mark Martin does, but I still felt pretty daring going 75. I also got to stand in Victory Lane. That made my whole day! Sooooooo many of the greatest drivers had stood there and I couldn’t believe I was! After leaving the track, we went back to the hotel and I got to meet Chelsy’s aunt, LynnAnn. She was hilarious and so much fun to be around! We talked for a few minutes and she invited Olivia and I to hang out with her and Chels for the night. She drove us all around the town and took us to a mall and then to eat. We ate at P.F. Changs. I don’t know if you’ve ever been to this place, but until you have, you’re missing out! It was so good! I ate til I couldn’t fit anything else into my stomach!! She dropped us off back at the hotel after all of that and we talked for a while and crashed.

Today, we’re on our way to Nashville, which I’ve been waiting the whole trip to go to! Tomorrow night, we’re going to the Grand Ole Opry and BILLY CURRINGTON and RODNEY ATKINS will be there as well!!!!!!! I can’t wait! I can’t believe I have this opportunity! I’m very, very lucky!!
