We’re going to State!! :)
Out of all my years here at Hillcrest, the sports have never been too hot. We’ve always given it our all, but we usually couldn’t pull it out on top. But this year, that all changed! Our football team made it past the first round of play-offs, which was the first time in history, our girl’s golf team made it to State and now, boy’s basketball is headed to State! I can’t believe it!
I’ve been to just about every basketball game this year and I’m so glad I haven’t missed many! It’s been so worth it and I’ve had so much fun.
The basketball games have made my senior year. The chant, “I believe that we have won!” has been the best part of this year!
State is this next weekend and I’ll probably be back on here to report how we did. We’re at an 11 game win streak, hopefully we’ll keep it going!! :)
