STRESS
Wow! The stresses of senior year. There’s so much to worry about and so many get togethers with friends. What to choose? Hmm.. Well, for me, it’s always hanging out with friends and it’s starting to catch up with me.
I’m the Media Commissioner in Cabinet, which means I’m in charge of the memories video. Last year when I signed up to do the memories video, I...

We're going to State!! :)
Out of all my years here at Hillcrest, the sports have never been too hot. We’ve always given it our all, but we usually couldn’t pull it out on top. But this year, that all changed! Our football team made it past the first round of play-offs, which was the first time in history, our girl’s golf team made it to State and now, boy’s basketball is headed to State! I...

Senior Year
Last year I heard all the seniors saying how stressful senior year was. I honestly had no idea what they were talking about until this semester and man, were they right!
ACT scores, colleges, applications, memories video, deadlines, homework, studying, and the list goes on and on. But if you want to know the honest truth, I can’t complain! I love every minute of it! While a lot of my...

Procrastination.
Of everyone in world, I’m probably the biggest procrastinator EVER. Just ask Coach Davis ;) This blog was due a week ago! So.. with that being said, I have lost the list of ideas to blog about and will be coming up with something off the top of my head. Here’s the best I’ve got.. My new favorite movie, The Blind Side.
I’ve seen previews for The Blind Side for a couple...

"I Believe that We Have Won!"
Football season.. The very best time of the year! I’m probably the girliest girl you’ll ever meet but when it comes to Hillcrest Football, I’m the biggest fan out there! :) I love everything about it! And this year, we’re doing better than we have in a while. So far, we’re 3 and 2 and since my freshman year, we’ve been 2 and 8. We’re coming right along :)

Catching Up!
Wow, Am I tired?! I’m completely wiped out and am SICK of eating out! The Grand Ole Opry is the only thing keeping me going at this point!
Well, I believe the last time I blogged we were leaving D.c. Since then, I’ve been to Virginia Beach and Charlotte, NC. I’ll start with Virginia Beach!
Ughhh! It was boring! Nothing was open being that we visited out of “beach...
Saying goodbye to DC!!
Welll, we toured the capital today! We started with the Newseum and at first, I was a little nervous I’d be bored. But, I quickly came to find that it would be one of the most interesting places I’d ever visit! It had everything; from 9/11 to dogs that have lived in the White House. My favorite thing I saw was the September 11th gallery. It had a piece of the plane in there and a piece...
We made it to DC!
First, I would like to apologize for not blogging last night. I was wiped when I get back to the room!! But here it goes, now that I’m wide awake!
I said my last goodbyes to the Big Apple today and we started more to the East. It was a long drive but rewarding once we got here. We walked around DC and looked at the monuments. We saw the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam Memorial, the Jefferson...
New York!!
Oh my gosh! New York was amazing! I saw everything I’ve ever wanted to see in the Big Apple and it was even bigger and shinier than I had imagined! I loved it!
We started by riding the Subway to Manhattan. It was quite an experience! There were cross dressers and creepy guys and Chelsy almost got stuck in the doors! We rode through a few stops and got off at Grand Street. We walked through...
Day Three: :/
Well, unfortunately, today wasn’t one of the best. I woke up in Cleveland and once again, we were in a Holiday Inn Express. I packed my stuff up and went downstairs for breakfast. I ate as slow as I could because I knew the only thing I had to look forward to was seeing Times Square at 6 that night and until then, it was another eight hour trip on the bus!
We started in on our journey...
Day Two: Chicago/ Cleveland!
Well, first, I’d like to start off by saying thank you to my grandpa for keeping up with what I’ve been up to! Also, for leaving me my one and only comment! And my response to it would have to be, he’s right. I’m on a once in a lifetime trip and a lack of details about what I see and where I stay would just be wrong. So, I’m going to try and make up for it today by...
Day-One Down, Nine To Go!
The eight hour drive wasn’t near as bad as I thought. Besides the frequent potty breaks and some sudden brake checks, it was a smooth ride. We arrived in Chicago around 5:00; we knew we were here as soon as we saw the giants buildings. Eli, our bus driver, unloaded us and our many bags into our hotel and we slowly made our way to the 8th floor. When we made it to our rooms, we were in for a...
